Frequently asked questions

How do I create my first morning routine?

Go to the Morning tab, tap the + button and follow the steps to create your routine. You can then add specific tasks and choose the days it runs.

Is my data backed up?

All of your data is saved automatically on your device. If you turn on iCloud, it is also synced across your Apple devices.

How do badges work?

Badges unlock based on your task completion rate. The more goals you hit, the further you progress through the levels: Beginner, Apprentice, Seasoned, Expert, Master.

How do I customise notifications?

The app comes with notifications configured by default. You can change them at any time in iOS Settings → Clearly → Notifications.

How do I set up recurring tasks?

Go to the Recurring tab to add tasks that repeat as you need. Choose the days involved and the period: weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

How do I move between days?

Use the Yesterday / Today / Tomorrow buttons in the sub-navigation to move from one day to another.

How do I roll over unfinished tasks?

Tap the Copy button to move the day’s unfinished tasks to tomorrow.

How do I see my statistics?

The Statistics tab shows your progress grid, the badges you have unlocked and your completion rates over time.

Clearly is a task and morning-routine manager built for iOS. It lets users organise their daily tasks, create personalised routines and follow their productivity through a gamification system.

Distribution and hosting

The Clearly app is distributed through Apple’s App Store and hosted on their servers. User data is stored locally on the user’s device and may be synced through iCloud depending on the user’s preferences.

Technologies

The app is built in Swift and SwiftUI, using native iOS frameworks to guarantee the best possible experience and seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem.

Intellectual property

Every element making up the Clearly app — source code, user interfaces, icons, animations, texts and visual identity — is the exclusive property of Julien Taret and is protected by copyright.

Any reproduction, representation or adaptation, in whole or in part, is prohibited without prior authorisation.

Introduction

This privacy policy describes how the Clearly app collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Data collected

Clearly gathers only the information you enter yourself:

  • Your tasks and task lists
  • Your morning routines and their settings
  • Your app preferences (theme, language)
  • Your productivity statistics

Data storage

All of your data is stored locally on your iOS device. If you turn on iCloud syncing, your data may be backed up on Apple’s servers, in line with Apple’s privacy policy.

Use of data

The data collected is used only to:

  • Run the app and its features
  • Calculate your productivity statistics
  • Personalise your experience
  • Sync your data across devices (if iCloud is on)

Data sharing

Clearly does not share, sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Your rights

At any time, you have the following rights:

  • Access — view your data directly in the app
  • Correction — edit your tasks and preferences
  • Deletion — delete your data in the app or by uninstalling it
  • Turning off iCloud — disable syncing in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Clearly

Pricing

Prices are shown in euros (€) or in the local currency, all taxes included. Premium features are available as an in-app purchase on the App Store at €4.99.

Payments

All payments are handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store. The publisher neither collects nor stores any payment data.

Use

The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Any unauthorised reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

Support and updates

Updates are free and automatic through the App Store. Technical support is available by email at contact@applemousse-studio.fr.

Liability

The publisher cannot be held liable for data loss, service interruptions or indirect damages resulting from use of the app.

Refunds
